Ryan T. Liston earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and graduated from the University of Kansas with Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Political Science. During his studies at the University of Minnesota, Mr. Liston served as a published editor of the Minnesota Law Review; served as the editor of the Silha Bulletin through the University’s Silha Center for the Study of Media Ethics and Law; worked in a tribal government’s general counsel’s office; and was awarded for his First Amendment, Environmental Law, and Employment Discrimination course work. Following law school, Mr. Liston commenced his practice at a family law firm in Denver. Mr. Liston currently provides general counsel representation to special districts and libraries.
